It’s been a long time since I’ve actually driven a Spitfire, something I hope to remedy this summer. I’ve been working on my ’78 Spitfire for FOUR years now. I have stripped it down to bare metal, welded in patch panels, used body solder in most places for my repairs, and have done a lot to alter the car the way I like it. I hope to rebuild my website to show some of my changes, but since I’m not so good at photography or film, I have limited documentation to work with.
